Meet THe Board of Directors 2024-2025

Annette Fredrickson - Co-Region 2 Director

Annette Fredrickson was born and raised in New Jersey. After graduation and a stint as a nanny in New York, she moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where she met her future husband. They decided to move to his hometown, Casper, in 2008, and start a family. She graduated Casper College’s Paralegal Program in 2017, as a non-traditional student and mother of two, with a 4.0. While in the program, she served as the Legal Assistants of Wyoming’s Student Liaison, and was honored to receive LAW’s 2016 Outstanding Student Award. She was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and began the legwork for creating a brand-new (and Wyoming’s first and only) chapter of Lambda Epsilon Chi Paralegal Honor Society at Casper College. Annette was also invited to participate in Casper College’s Thunderbird Student Leadership Institute. In 2017, she received LAW’s Future CP Attainment Award. In 2020, she was presented with LAW’s Member Making a Difference Award.

While employed as a paralegal with Dixon & Dixon in early 2018, Annette was elected to the LAW board as Secretary. In 2019, she was elected First Vice President. In 2022, she was elected President Elect. In 2023, she was elected President for the 2023-2024 term. She has been employed by Chapman Valdez & Lansing, starting as their receptionist, since 2018. Annette’s caseload includes personal injury and general litigation.

Annette is also an ordained minister, and has officiated 150+ weddings over the last 12+ years. Especially during wedding season, you can find her researching, writing ceremonies, at consultations with clients, at rehearsals, filling out paperwork, calming brides (and/or grooms!), fetching forgotten items at the last minute, and a million other unforeseen tasks.

Annette’s husband Josh works for National Oilwell Varco / Tuboscope, and is frequently working out of town in such places as the Dakotas, Texas, Kuwait, and the Netherlands. Annette and Josh have two wonderful children. When they're not at the kids' volleyball games or orchestra concerts, they love camping in the Shirley and Bighorn Mountains and binge-watching The History Channel.

Shannon Rezanina, ACP - Co-Region 2 Director

Shannon graduated from the Paralegal Program at Casper College in May 2005.  She received her NALA CP certification in September 2006, and has earned 4 ACP credentials through NALA as well.  Shannon also graduated from Colorado Christian University in 2020 with a bachelor's in psychology.  She works at Williams, Porter, Day & Neville in their Casper office, and has worked there for 18 years.  She has been a member of LAW since she was a student at Casper College.  She served on the board of LAW in multiple positions throughout her entire time as a member.  She also served on NALA's Continuing Education Counsel from 2018–2022.  Shannon is passionate and excited about teaching others about the benefits of being a certified paralegal and belonging to their local organizations and NALA.

Shannon was born and raised in Newcastle, Wyoming, and moved to Casper in 1990 where she met her husband, Jim.  She and her husband made their own in Casper, where they raised 3 children and 2 miniature schnauzers.  She is blessed to call herself "Nana" to two amazing grandchildren.

In her spare time away from the office, she loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as glam-camping, riding her bike and walks in the summertime with her miniature schnauzers.
