Join us for an engaging and educational luncheon exploring how principles of military discipline and structure translate into civilian legal practice. Kelsey Fleener, Esq. of The Spence Law Firm, LLC will discuss the key differences between military and civilian paralegals, ethical boundaries in legal support roles, and how to remain forward-leaning without crossing the line into the unauthorized practice of law.

Meet our Speaker

A Southwest Wyoming native and former collegiate golfer turned Army JAG officer, Kelsey Fleener has built a career rooted in advocacy and service. She served as a Special Victim Trial Counsel in the U.S. Army, later litigated energy cases for the Department of the Interior, and now teaches at the University of Wyoming while pursuing advanced studies in Energy and Natural Resources law.

Great News!

NALA has officially approved 1 CLE credit for this event—.25 for ethics and .75 for substantive! All attendees will receive a signed Certificate of Attendance after the presentation via email.

LAW-The Wyoming Association strives not only to guide you in the paralegal profession but also to help you get to know each other and create a statewide and beyond network of support for our members.
